Active 10 (UK) – 31st May 2026

As usual, the trades will be reported to the Portico Plaza members via the Slack system (usually on the same day).

This is the end of month position for 31st May 2026.

The portfolio has continued its strong run, with two stocks now up by more than 100%. Filtronic PLC leads the way at +113.2%, closely followed by Goldplat PLC at +109.8%, and Hardide PLC has put in an excellent performance at +61.3%. There were two new additions to the portfolio this month and two partial sells to bank profits (first acorns). A dividend from Old Mutual Ltd was also received. On the downside, Johnson Matthey PLC is the biggest laggard at -8.2%, with Old Mutual Ltd at -7.7% and Metals Exploration PLC at -6.3%. The overall portfolio is up by 34.59% after five months, which is a very encouraging position.

Transactions (May 2026)

There were five transactions during May 2026, as detailed below.

Hardide PLC and Serabi Gold PLC were purchased as new additions to the portfolio, while part of the Filtronic PLC and Goldplat PLC holdings were sold to bank the first acorns from those positions. A dividend from Old Mutual Ltd of £37.76 was also received during the month. The resulting cash balance, within the portfolio, is £14.25.

The ‘Bench Mark’ for the portfolio is the All-Share Index (ASX), which started the year at 5,350.38. By 31st May 2026, it had increased by 4.74% to 5,604.03. The Portfolio, which is up by 34.59% at 31st May, is therefore currently outperforming the index by 29.85% (34.59% – 4.74%)
